This is the place to come for sneak peeks of my latest sessions, as well as the occasional dog in need of a home . I am located in the Hurricane Utah area , but I am more than happy to travel near and far to meet fun new clients.
I'm a photographer dedicated to telling your pets story. My style is energetic, fun and unique. I love to capture your pet just being themselves. Because your pet is worth remembering just the way they are.
I also am a community partner with Hurricane Animal Shelter, LaVerkin Animal Shelter, RSQ Dog and Blue Sky Foundation. I'ts a fun way to give publicity for a deserving animal looking for a forever home and I'm proud to be a part of that.
Your pet is fun, energetic and has a great personality. I want to capture those moments. My work shows off their personality. I do that by using different noise makers and healthy treats during the portrait session. I get your pets best and most authentic expressions.
It's always helpful if your dog knows some basic commands like sit and stay but it is not necessary. I don't expect your dog to sit and be perfectly still. I have tricks to keep their attention and I have more patience than you know. Working with shelter and rescue dogs, I also know how important it is to give a pet a break. Depending upon the pet it can become stressful and confusing. We don't want that.
Pets want to be relaxed and want to take a walk, hike, run or swim? Utah is the perfect place for that. I believe natural locations make the best backgrounds and your pet will be comfortable and relaxed outside where they can explore and be a dog. Whether it's in a park, on a trail, maybe even downtown St George, your dog will feel like they are on a new and different experience. Everyone can relax and have fun.
Most of the dogs I photograph are on leashes especially shelter and rescue dogs. I believe safety is first and I have a great deal of experience removing leashes from portraits so that your dog looks like they are running free even when they are safely walking and running next to you.
Your dog is your best friend, your family, the furry soul that gets you. They spend their lifetime loving you unconditionally and you'll remember that feeling forever. Honor your pet with a portrait. They give so much and ask for so little in return. Life can be the same after a trinket has been lost, but never after the loss of a treasure.
